I started tanning abouuuut…almost 2 weeks ago I believe. I’m starting out with a level one tanning bed because it’s $20/mo and I’m not committed enough to pay $30-50/mo for level 2 & 3 beds. That’s really irrelevant, but anyway, I started out with 5 mins. I didn’t burn so I went to 6 mins the next time. I worked my way up to 8 minutes, but I did burn little, mostly on my back and thighs. My question is should I stay at 8 minutes or go back down to 7 minutes? I went today and did 8 minutes but it’s still too early to tell if I burned. I usually can’t tell until later in the evening.
I have a base tan on my arms and shoulders from running outside this past summer and they’re looking quite nice :)
One more question: What kind of tanning lotion do you use/ what is the best kind to use?

I’d say go back to 6-7 minutes. May not seem that long but it is. Just until you get a little bit darker. I’m pasty white and when I did tan I went for 6 minutes (every other day) for almost a month because when I tried to go higher I burned bad.
