First of all, I know some of you guys probably despise Valentine’s Day, as did I once upon a time, until i found someone that actually knows how to treat a woman.
Ok, but anyway, we literally celebrated on three different days. No kidding. I made Manicotti (my usually V-day menu) on Saturday. Why I didn’t wait to make that until the actually day, I have no idea. I guess I decided I wanted to celebrate early? But all I really wanted was eat Manicotti. So Saturday it’s pretty safe to say that I O.D.ed on cheese. Of all kinds.
Monday, we went out and celebrated at a Mexican restaurant called Mama Roja. Its more of an upscale Mexican restaurant. Better than your average. Once again I O.D.ed on cheese and fried food. We knew that every place on earth would be packed on Tuesday so we decided to go the day before, which was a good idea because we got right in, and I kept hearing how crazy it was Tuesday night.
Tuesday night, I made huge huge huge Ribeye steaks and garlic mashed potatoes. We also had crackers and cheese. Cheese again. I can’t seem to get away from cheese. For desert we had Angel food cake with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and Starbucks Vanilla Bean Latter ice cream.
I won’t say that I regret it, because I don’t really, but I’m not exactly happy about the choices I made. I mean, celebrating ONE day, would have sufficed. But I’m a fat girl at heart. And still am physically, for that matter.
